順接關系：即下文所述內容是對前文的進一步解釋，與前句內容相近，相輔相成。
順接關系通常由下列關系詞連接：thus, therefore, similarly , first, second, third…last(ly), generally speaking, in other words等 另外還有例證關系詞：for example, for instance 以及表總結關系的詞，in conclusion, all in all, in a word等。2017考生需要注意的是當段落中無明顯關系詞時，通常視為順承關系。這種關系在考研英語試題文章中出現的是多的，需要從句意關聯上判定出來。例如試題中的這段話，句間全是順承關系，第二句和第三句是對第一句的解釋，第五句是對第四句的解釋。
